License plate mounting
Ok so I currently don't have my front plate on, it had some nasty screws that jsut seem to be taped into the bumper cover.... they never tighten, and they work themselves loose
Where the holes are, I actually can't access the backside of them unless I were to take off the entire cover, and I don't want to do that
What are my options?
this is what it had:

Get bigger/thicker screws so that they will hold. Or....
fill them with bondo
touch-up paint the now covered holes
relocate your license plate with something like this:

I want somehtign that actually positively engages... I wonder if there is a thing where I could drill a larger hole, and use like a butterfly thing? like you would use on drywall....
or was thinking possibly a larger hole, but with those license plate things that have the big square insert? and then the screw threads hard into that, and it spreads itself open on the other side of the hole so it wont pull out? is that possible?

so... went to a friend's house to do the timing belt... and now have this....
10-24 threaded rivets..... they work great, and are very slick... it is a like a pop rivet, allows you to use them when you only have access to one side, and it is a threaded insert, so it rivets the nut through the face basically, it hold quite well
