I got mine done with the gutter mesh thingies. I got them a Lowe's though and they were like 1.50 a piece! The only thing is the mesh itself was made for small gutter stuff so you have careful cutting it or you'll end up with something that won't cover the whole thing. I had a little problem with the large bottom one so I'll post pics when it's fixed. Foglights aren't done yet.
2 mesh was enough for the bottom one and the 2 top ones . I've yet to check if the leftover would be enough for the foglights so 3 will be enough.
Total: mesh + paint 'bout $20 (primer + the color paint)
Time to cut/paint 12hours
Total time to install: 1 1/2 day (counting paint time and breaks )

yeah Im actualy workin on my mesh right now..I just got done painting this stuff I bought at home depot,Im putting 3 coats of black on it.Then My order from summit racing came in the (black powdercoated unaversal grille) http://store.summitracing.com/
thats what they say it looks like but it really looks like this
It doesnt look like what they say on their site..
The stuff I bought from home depot comes like this:
After I painted it it came out like this
Looks good but it wasnt wide enough for some parts of my bumper,so thats why I have to use the other stuff also..

I plan on doing this mod too and go to Home Depot or something. I know Mitsubishi sells the same thing for an *** raping $200+. Given the relative ease of doing it yourself I can't understand why they'd charge that... or better yet, who would pay that. If it were $50 I might consider it, but even that would be a bit much for simple wire mesh.
