SS Clutch Line Install help?

SS Clutch Line Install help?
So, I took off the slave cylinder, and installed the SS clutch line where it's supposed to be, then I started bleeding the clutch, but after about an hour, I still just have air in the lines and the clutch pedal offers no resistance.
My question is, am I doing this right? how long should it take to bleed it?
My friend will fully depress the clutch pedal, then I open the bleeder valve where the SS line connects, then I close it, and he releases the pedal, and we mustve repeated this 200 times, and I still just get air out of the bleeder valve and no fluid. Ive checked for any leaks, and there are none so can anyone offer any advice?

ya, it's full, and that's what Ive been doing, I get a blast of air everytime I open the bleeder, but no fluid, I had to stop for the night and start again in the morning though.

Poco, I did my install last fall...If I read correctly is souds like your pressing the clutch when the bleeder is closed and then opening the bleeder. Make sure to press the clutch when the bleeder is open and as soon as the clutch is on the floor close off the bleeder. I had my father is law help me and it worked fine. I suggest to do it again in a few weeks to make sure all of the air settled and came out.....oh yeah, make sure to keep the fluid all the up,like almost overflowing cause it does not take much to get air in there. its easy to bleed back to the max line but it sucks to get all the air out and start over.

close the bleeder
pump the clutch (up and down, up and down, up and down)
open the bleeder slowly to half way and have the person push down the clutch
when he hits half way you close the bleeder
repeat
and while it might LOOK like there is fluid in the reservior, if you pour some in there, you might see a big bubble raise up and all the fluid gone.. the bubble gets "stuck' at the bottom of the can

Thanks again guys, I just got it finished, I think the problem was that I didnt use enough fluid, because I just did it by myself, and I pretty much did it the same way I just added fluid, and used a brick on the clutch pedal, took me 20 minutes to fully bleed it. Now if this damn moving truck would move, i could go take it for a test drive.

Well after I did it myself, and took it for a boot over to my buddies place, we filled the reservoir over max again and then bled it down to the max line, so it should be all good.
