I don't really care for the reception quality cause I don't listen to the radio that much, i got it because it looks a lot better than the stocker.

Same here. I don't even listen to FM that much anymore. An MP3 CD-ROM is more than enough for a long trip...

If I had to listen to anything else, I guess I would get a Sirius subscription.

My reception was the same with the shorty antenna - both FM and AM (I listen to Yankee games), but I live in NYC and not the sticks, so that may be why.

stole a honda element antenna just now..fits perfectly...hahhah..

DAMN!! i had a CIVIC SI shorty antenna... but i over tightened it and it snapped. the screw part is stuck in place. and now it looks like i have a little nub instead of an antenna... how do i get this stuck nut out of the hole?!?! >.</

there's a drill bit called an easy-out. You drill it in counterclockwise. it has a small drill at the end, and reversed threads further up. when you drill it in, the bit makes a hole for itself and then the threads catch and pull the stuck bolt out.

I got the perrins and it is way better than any OEM one you can get

i'm rockin the s2k and i don't see how something can be WAY better. its an antenna. they all do the same thing. and look almost exactly the same.
