Stay away from Mobil 1, apparently it reacts horribly with our car...
I think if you search "gear oil" you'll find a recent thread talking about it, i don't recall what was suggested. But I'll probably rock some BG Synchromesh when i get my clutch installed. My problem is finding where to buy that stuff.

I have been looking into the same thing and this is what my research has yielded thus far:

***Search the evo forum they have amazing info about all this
alot more details available plus some hardcore tranny guys and builders are on it***

neways this is what i know

BGII good choice lasts long havent heard much bad about it cept its kinda expensive (there is a bgI its cheaper its dino last less not worht it imo)

RedLine MT90 also good stuff abit heavy for some and some complaints about sluggish shifting but smooth nonetheless maybe not so smooth in cold untill warmed uo

penzoil/quaker state supposed to give one of the smoothest shifts best bang for the buck but might need to change it a little more often since it degrades fast some evo guys say stay away but they are makin 12secs passes consistently . Same as /GM synchromesh

i think all three of the above are recommended by DSM tranny builders (TRE, shep) but that i cant verify 100% ...... just search the evo forum loads more in there

personally if i can find penzoil synchromesh i will be trying it otherwise i have sourced redline mt90 for 9bucks and if research oks it i migh ttry to mix the 2 provided i find the synchromesh

I agree with dan, youve created a LOT of new threads in the last two weeks, asking questions that have been asked already many times before. and with a little searching, you could find answers to the questions youve been asking; sorry dude but its true.

very true, especially on the tranny oil. you DIDN'T search, or you wouldn't have to ask this question at all.

if you have a question about something, stop making new threads. that's the whole point of searching man, so you can find a thread that has all the information already in it and if it doesn't answer your question you ask it in the thread that has all the information in it. DUH!

I know I'm a *****, but your not helping matters.

and for the record, if I was a moderator you would have already been warned about cluttering up these forums without searching first. I tried to explain to you that the RA forums have raised expectations, but you are starting to drag us down to evo general. STOP PLEASE.

Dan you would of been so proud of me today, lol. Talking about research, I ended up getting in touch with one of the best transmission specialist out in Houston, TX. Basically to answer my question and maybe anyone elses, as he said, the best gear oil for our ralliarts would be the Penzoil 75-90 synthetic gl-4. Placed my order at Nappa today, and cant wait to get it up the tranny.

awesome man, glad you found some good info. have you found the other tranny fluid threads here on EvoM? Those will list out the three or four most popular "racer" fluids for you.
