Center console gauge pod ?

Center console gauge pod ?

Ok guys i need some help. I have 3 60mm blitz blm gauges and a center console gauge pod. But i forget when i heard this but i heard that unlike the evo the rallairt has a metal bar behind the head unit area that makes it so you cant install the gauges. I was wondering if this is true because i want to isntall these gauge and this gauge pod, so if any one knows just help me out ok thansk guys. Oh i have a pic attatched of the gauge pod also.

there is a bar but i'm sure the guages can fit i don't c y not.. how long r theyc ause a headunit is def bigger than guages first off. i don't c the bar having any problems with installin guages.. but correct me if i'm wrong on this. i have a lancer and not a RA and there is a bar behind the radio but its deep in there.. prob good couple inches from headunit

nice nice, yeah i cant wait to get these gauges in there just wanted to check this out befor ei started ripping things out of my car hahaha.

so wheres ur radio gonna be? i haven't had a workin radio in my car for sometime boy i can't stand myself singing haha

You can always cut the bar out, after checking to see if it's doing anything important.

The gauges will fit unless they are very deep. I was able to (just) fit my Defi BF gauges.

i have the blitz blm gauges, you knwo the black lit carbon faced gauges. There sweet lookin, my friend has defi gauges in his evo there sick. My head unit will go into my cubby hole under the air knobes. I will have to do some sutting and custom work because my head unit is'nt stock so it wont fit exact.

there isn't any problem installing gauges inside the radio slot..

nice look to the gauges, I'm still not sure if i want to relocated my radio down so far? I want the Mitsu gauges, but not certian if i want the gauges where the radio goes, i may just use the plate for the little pocket to mount the gauges.

Actually, after relocating the radio the volume control is just in front of my index finger when my had rest on the shifter, so it works out really well.

i have an auto with my Sportback, and i have a flip down face, so you can see the dilema, i like the look, again sweet install.

Hey Voidhawk, where did you get the a-pillar gauge pod? I like that color better than RRM's, its more factory looking. Also, how much was the radio cubby hole?
