Brake light on evo 8 spoiler?

Brake light on evo 8 spoiler?

Just wondering if anyone has done this. I was thinkin bout takin my brake light off my spoiler from my 04 RA and mounting it on my evo 8 wing from RRM. anyone do this or have any suggestions on how to get it done? thx.

It just wont work, get the brake light from the dealership for the back window. Part number is MN126920HB and the cheapest place to get it is www.mitsubishiparts.net

Just order the one on mitsubishiparts.net dude, the dealership will only charge 50 bucks or so to get it installed, will turn out much better than trying to jiggyrig a LED bar on the back on your spoiler.

It's not a cf spoiler, it's the evo 8 from rrm. but yeah, it'll probably be too much work to run the wires and make it fit right. well, worth a look.

evo spoiler= 1/4 inch thick, led brake light= 1 inch thick

alright, it's probably not gonna happen. BUT, do you have an evo 8 spoiler from road race?? it's def not 1/4" thick.

^ hmmm?! i don't know about road races but i saw too up close today( a real oem cf, and ebay replica) both of them were way less than an inch thick(the carbon fiber center piece)
post a pic of your third brake light next to your spoiler.

You could put a string of light bars across the top, maybe it will act like a gurney and add more downforce

i'll get a pic of the spoiler for u guys to see, it's pretty thick. it's definitely not like the oem ones. and i'll try to do a chop but i'm not the greatest w/ it.
