You know guys, I've been looking at the front end for a day now and I just can't find a reason to like it... I'm so damn glad I got the '04! I really have to get those front grills done and then the front of my ride will look much better. The '06 looks like misc parts thrown in together without a clue as to how the final result would look like. They could at least have matched the crease in the hood with a crease in the grill... I dunno...
I don't feel the interior either... way too bland. They should have completed the CF look (climate control trim, center console) instead of going with painted trims...
I'd like to see how the new pedals look though... maybe there is something positive somewhere and I missed it...
Well, anyway, it's still gonna be our good old RA and it's still gonna outhandle anything in it's price range + many much more expensive cars.

Sorry, not a chance... they won't be changing models every year. They probably wanted to refresh the look so the transition with the '08 model (should be a new platform) is not too harsh...
It doesn't bode well for the look of the next Lancer if you want my opinion...

I like our 04/05 front end better, especially the lower bumper. At least they went with mesh though and got rid of the f_ugly gills.
Interior, I'm mixed on both models. I really don't care for steering wheel on either one. I think I like their seats better, but I like our trim more. Too close, it's a toss up.
On our model, the "beak / thong / triange" (whatever you want to call it) never bothered me, nor does the haz button. I see nothing new that would persuade me to get an 06 over an 05.
At least there should be a couple more years of performance mods that fit both models.

Yup! I'm with you on both statements...
BTW: Yours is an '05? It seems like you've been on here forever... when did you buy it?
[EDIT: Never mind, it's in your profile... I might just have misinterpreted what you said.]
