Ok heres the deal, first of all, i own a Mirage, that i've converted into a Lancer Evo V, (pictures of my car can be found here http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2142659)i had a big electrical problem which forced me to take out my entire dash, so as i have all that apart i've recently aquired a Lancer (not sure if its OZ Rally, or normal) gauge cluster, that im thinking of swapping into my car. Since I've already posted this on my forum (www.mirageforums.net) im just going to copy and paste what i've posted::

So since i have everything apart in my car, i've had this lancer cluster and want to put it in, here are some pics that you'll need for further reference:







ok as you can see, the back of the lancer cluster doesn't have plugs or anything like the mirage's but it does have have a wiring harness, now in the picture that shows part of the mirage's cluster taken apart, you could see some wires coming out of the plugs, has anyone ever identified each of these wires, to know what each one is for??? , i know i could wire the lancer up to those somehow but i would need to identify each wire and unless i have a reference of some sort, im going to be guessing the whole time, attach one wire, see what it does, attach another see what it does etc. .... so what im saying is , i want to save myself some time in not having to do this... or is there anything that i could buy that could sorta be plug and play, where i wire up a female end to the lancer cluster and plug it into the mirage's harness? if your confused about anything im saying please let me know and tell me what you want me to describe more

Anyone got any ideas???

The marage cluster doesn't have a tach. Why the switch?

I'm confused. Whats the scam? They are a used car dealership here in Florida and they import JDM cars. I meet a guy that got an evo7 from them and its in great shape and street legal.

 

ok ok ok, the fitment is off a little but it still fits into my mirage, what im trying to get from you guys is maybe a website or reference with a wiring schematic for the LANCER gauge cluster, the mirage cluster i will find on my own, i cant seem to find the schematic for the lancer cluster anywhere, anyone got any information? one more thing, i am making the switch FROM A MIRAGE cluster TO A LANCER, not the other way around (reasons being, the lancer cluster looks better/has a tachometer)
