i would pick X3 cuz they claim they use 9007. but thats not a 100%
i wouldnt be surprised if they are all the same from one company that is making them and distributing them out to partstrain and x3 and other sellers.

I think the x3 racing has their info wrong. It wouldn't make sense to use the 9007 for low beams and h1 for high beams. The 9007 is a low and high beam bulb used on vehicles where they don't have the beams on seperate bulbs. On these lights they have to be using h3's and h1's. They probobly just got it confused with the wiring harness that comes with these lights...it has a 9007 conector that conects with the stock harness. Also using the 9007 only for low beam would produce similar amount of light as h3. Someone make sure that the x3 racing employee checks what the acctual bulbs are.

the rainbow line is the light sprectrum that the projector lense produces. similar to a prism. kinda like Pink Floyds symbol for dark side of the moon

do you even know what he was reffering to? and NO a projector should not give that little rainbow he is talking about. and with a projector, you shold now be able to see all the colors like a prizm...

yes at the top of the cut off line is where the "rainbow" apears. i have seen hundreds of cars with projectors and hid's and they all have that. some are just not as visiable as others.

This kinda shows different types of cutoff lines.

You are probably right, low beams on Ebay are H3, like yours. So how good do you feel they are comparing to the stock headlights to light the road? No question they are beautiful. Some halogen xenon filled H3 (not HID) sold on Ebay claim 30-70% more output, such as Galaxy (5000K). If it is true, are they legal?
