Pics of my car with projector headlights
Here are a few pictures of my finished projector headlights (these are the ones I had to bake). They are plug and play (the ones you get from partstrain.com) and they look sweet. They definatly give the RA a meaner look IMO. So check it out. I will post daylight pics this weekend. I can't take any day time pics earlier because I work and only get to see my RA when it's dark outside.

I know that the light color kinda f's things up, but that will get changed come spring time. I also noticed the headlights are fogging up a little in the bottom corner so I will have to add a bit more silicone around it. The problem I have is it's winter and I don't have a garage. To take out the headlights you have to remove the front bumper. I tried taking them out, but couldn't. I was doing all this in the mitsu dealership shop cause my buddy works there so they let me use the shop. One of their mechanics looked up info on the pc as to how to take out the headlights and it does say that you have to remove the bumper.
By the way these headlights have seperate bulbs for high and low beam. The bulbs are like H4/H3 or something. They mount the same as the foglight bulb so you need good clearance to replace them that's why I can't do em right now. Also on the pics you see the high beams turned on and projectors (low beams) are off. The halos are wired up to park lights.

20 questions???
Also they are still chrome right? I honestly think those look good even if they are chrome and not blacked out. You payed 281ish for them right? What is the brand of them? If you want some blue bulbs I have an extra set laying around if youd be interested.

You dont have to mod any wiring. They come prewired with connectors that work with US spec 04-05 Lancer headlights 06 too i guess. I think I also have an H1 bulb (high beam maybe??) Yes they cost me 281 USD + shipping. Same ones sell on ebay for 393USD + shipping. I forgot what the brand is, but if you call the partstrain techs they will tell you (I think it's like KDS or something)
Mine are painted satin black.

Yes I painted mine satin black, they came chrome just like they show on the site.
Arithmetic if you plan to paint them then once they are open you can take the halos out if you don't like em. Just to let everyone know I had to cut a couple wires wires to remove a little black box that's sitting in the headlight. Also when I was baking my headlights to take em apart or to put em together I had to leave the halos in. They are totaly fine as you can see. If you do deside to buy and paint these you'll know what I'm talking about. It's not that hard to do it's just a lot of little things that you have to take out that make you go crazy
