I have been searching for a cf hood in silver does anyone know if there is a company out there that makes one for the ralli?

no they dont. You should be lucky enough that you can even get it in regular cf.

aren't there about 4 companies making cf hoods for the ralli? VIS, Cerious, and Seibon (carbontrix as well but im not sure if rrm is getting there hoods from another supplier or not).

I've been looking for a cf hood but i only see rrm's. While silver would be nice I would be willing to settle for a standard colored one. I called seibon and they were saying that the evo hood will fit, when i told them the headlights were different they still insisted that it would fit. needless to say i didn't order it , any one else run into this problem?

Trust me, you don't want silver... My brother has a silver CF hood on his integra and the clear coat has decolored making it look yellow. Yuck! And this is a custom job from VIS; not sure why such the issue, but it sure looks nasty now. Good luck!

just stick with the regular carbon fiber hoods. dont waste your money on those overpriced "silver" carbon hoods. those hoods are just made of fiberglass thats painted silver. real carbon doesnt come in silver only in black.

you can get silver cf... actually you can get it in red, orange, blue but its usually kevlar woven into the cf or fiberglass woven in with the cf...but i don't think they make hoods like or full parts companies just sell the fabric itself... if there was someone around who could make a mold of your hood then lay in the cf you could have one made if you bought the materials... google- carbon fiber fabric... then look for the different resin's at the different sites.. because resin is what makes the cf hard if you didn't know that..

the resin holds the fibers in a solid/rigid state. the fibers are what gives it its strength.
