NEW halo style projectors..?
#31
Having a bad day? I never liked the Halo in the Projectors when I first saw it, and I still don't like it. It doesnt seem like I have any other choice for projectors do I? They ALL come with Halo rings, so tell me, where can I get the projectors without Halo rings? And to your other comments, I dont plan to take off my DRL's, I don't need more attention from HID's from the Popo, don't know what to say about your comment on the H7 bulbs because these projectors use them, In any case, they are better than the 9007 Halogen bulbs(for non HID users).
nah you don't have another choice for projectors, but you could keep your stock headlights which work perfectly fine. If you really hate the halo ring so bad, then i would love to see you take it off once you recieve your projectors, then i will really believe that you don't like them.
theres nothing to say about h7 bulbs other than the light output still sucks compared to stock.
your spoiler gives off more attention to the cops than if you put HID'S on... so your point on attention is what? almost all new cars are coming out with projectors with hid's...... it only stands out if you have a pinto and are rocking hid's

1. Like I said, I LIKE THE PROJECTORS.
2. If I like the projectors why would I keep my stock headlights. The only thing IMO that would make the projectors perfect is if they didnt have the HALO. Which, Eagle Eyes, manufactured the projectors, does NOT make projectors for our car WITHOUT HALO's.
3. Right. Find me the proof that H7 is worse than 9007. Other than that you're just stubborn.
4. I dont have an Evo spoiler, that was longggg time ago. Thanks. I also never mentioned anything about HID's.
Seriously I got nothing against you, but you just seemed harsh when I said "I didnt want the HALO's". In all honesty, I will try to unplug the Halo, not physically take it out but unplug the wire so it doesn't light up. I also don't understand why you are so damn hung on this whole HALO ring issue, these projectors are the only choice out there, ALL PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS FOR 04-06 LANCERS HAVE HALO RINGS.

ok i hope your not comparing our stock headlights to projector h7 halogen bulbs man, IT DOES NOT GIVE OFF THE SAME LIGHT OUTPUT PERIOD. I'm not stubborn it's just the truth, why do i have to prove this light output when i did this already ALONG TIME AGO?
you mentioned you did not want put hid's in your projectors anyways, because of attention to the POPO....if this is not mentioning HID'S then i don't know what is. also i never mentioned that you had an EVO SPOILER. so thank you
i can't stand folks who act like they don't like something, yet they buy it. admit it man, you like the halo ring and all , don't try to act diffrent by buying something other people have been and then try and say .......oh but i just like the projectors not the halo ring, seriously wtf is the point in saying that?, if you really want to, dismantle the halo ring and install christmas lights around the ring, i can help you with that.

Kev, these are super simple to unplug. I've opened 3 of these sets already (two H3's and one H7) to paint, they are all made the same way. Bake them, open them and just look. You'll see where the halos plug into. Just unplug it and seal 'em back up. 15 min job all in all.

hey itsaneswhocares, i contacted that guy from ebay who sold u the projectors. he said he still has a couple left but he said i had to convert my wirings to H4 since they werent designed for the 9007 using lancers. did u have to do the same thing?

I got my projectors today! I was so dam excited! I'll put pictures of them up later tonight, of the projectors, I haven't installed them yet. Not sure when i can too. Hopefully some time this week, maybe even tomorrow. I wanted to get my friend's help (car nut) but honestly, it seems simple enough and I might only need just a friend to help me out. They are sick though! In the picture it didn't show any signal light, (i thought they were clear ones) but it turns out i have amber signals (i wanted clear...) but it's all good. I love em and they will look sic on my car!

JDM headlight Clarification with pix!
ok guys, I took some pix..with my camera phone... it's ok though, it has 1.3 mega pixels! (I couldn't find the cable for my real digital camera...) anyways, I hope these pix will clarify what you are confused on! and feel free to ask me any questions. Oh and as for the wiring, if I didn't know any better, it is all plug and play. so remove the bumper, disconnect the stock headlight and just plug in the new headlight, simple as that (I'm sure). I'm overall pretty satisfied with my headlights, now i just have to install them and see how great they reall are!

yes they are beautiful! i put on a smile everytime i turn my head towards my bed where they lay! lol. and yeah, for the price of both of these, they are less expensive than one OEM headlight! oh and arithmetic, i tried e-mailing your friend about his car part out but he hasn't repsonded. i wanted to buy the RRM CAI if he still has it! thanx man an NP about the pix!

the light output is no comparison to an hid setup.

hey norcal, just make sure to aim them correctly after installing them. sometimes they dont come aligned right. yes clear side markers look way better than those orange side markers. peace
