What exactly did you have to do to make them HID friendly? I'm planning on getting a set of projectors and h1/h7 HID's to replace my 9007 kit.

Your ride is sexy, i saw your pics and i've been tossing up the idea of white fog lights or red yellow lights, (i have a red ES) i really like the yellow on the red, i think you've convinced me. as for the headlights they look great, although i can't justify paying $180 US to ship to Australia. :S

if u put the hid kit into one of those projestors they will melt. the only hid compatible projectors are made by a vendor on ebay...night evolution. they are jdm and they do work. i just finished installing them on mine and they look real tight. look the guy up on ebay and ask for it.

ok so tonight is the first time my hids have been in action. gotta say they are freakin bright...i mean i can see everything! i get to keep my high beams too. downside is there might be a little glare and at the top of the light beam, you can see rainbows lol. oh well... anyways, is there anything i could do to reduce the glare? i've heard there are custom shields for it - do they worK? anyone know?

I want to do this correctly with a true HID projector and shield. This is about the only way I would do it, but kinda pricy, plus you have to send them your housings or buy new ones.

I think considering the options that we have.. that they are the best i've seen. I think the ones with Halo's are the weird looking ones, but with this setup you'd have to get bi-xenon if you want to keep the highbeam whereas the others you have seperate high/low... wonder how hard it would be to remove the halos from the ebay ones...
