Sparco Harness

Havent been posting in awhile, jst been browsing ppls creative ideas. Anyways im back on the ball with modifications and started with an eye catching mod, the RACE HARNESS! Sparco to be specific Jst somethin small to get back in line and a mere 50bucks sold by a friend of mine, straight from his evo. Didnt turn out as bad as i thought it would. Thought it would look crapy so i didnt even bother. Didnt even kno it was possible to fit with our oem bucket seats. I'll be getting better seats in the future but its not a priority.


FYI it doesnt squeeze my neck. It flops to the side nicely on my shoulders, but if your a BIG person dont worry adjustments can be made.

Not to burst your bubble but why the 3-point harness in a 170 hp car?

because it makes the 170 hp car a 340 hp car duh!

But seriously for 50 bucks its great but dont wear it on the street.

Ill let other explain.

Its jst for kicks. It was cheap. Touge racing really slams you side to side. Curious to see what it looks like. Evo buddies insisting to "build your car the way you want to" Boostin soon anyway. I never wanted them b4 because i have the same thinking as you but now i learned jst to not care what other ppl think.
No worries Vin Diesel im not offended

side note: i see 125bhp vehicles with weak suspension set ups and weak torque with harnesses if you think thats bad. Also ralliarts are'nt too bad performance cars, give it little cred you make our cars sound sh*ty.

If you got em that cheap then id say go for it.
Screw what everyone else thinks including me lol. I get 50/50reviews on my car all the time...think i care? hell no
But i wouldnt have sported em till you has some seats....
I want some seats

In on the same page as you. I didnt want harnesses till i was boosted and had seats but whatever brand new sparco harnesses 50 buck ca-ching!
Hows your turbo set up btw? did you do it on a stock block? how many psi? and 1/4 times? i going custom as well

Its rrm powered.
Had just a few little problems but nothing major at all.
I kept it at 7psi on a stock block.
Dont have any 1/4 mile times all i have is an 1/8 of a mile track near me but i havent gone yet. Im still on my stock clutch an it doesnt hold boost very well at all.
Ill go after a stage 1

It's 4 point, the stock belt is 3. Anyways, you should know that a harness has nothing to do with straight line power. It's all about the holding you in during the turns (handy for autocrossing.) All that sitting has made you lazy in the brain.
