So did he have to take the tire off and all or did he paint it with the tire on? Also did he sand them down paint then put clear? Will they chip??

Would have to either sand it or make the surface rough to do a proper job..need to prep it..if you don't and you just spray on top of the existing finish it will just peel off or chip off very easily...

hopefully that was done

yea he took off the tire and sanded it then painted, and no it doesn't chip.
Some of my less observant friends think i bought new rims

Luckly, discount tire talked me out of steelies and into MB alloy for just 10.00 over steel a piece. Cheap rims but heck they look nicer and it's just for winter !
