take the cover off under the hood over the radiator to get at upper screws.

push back the black mesh piece and reach in behind the ring to get at the lower screws.
...........all that is needed is a stubby phillips screw driver.

in the pic you can see where all the screws will be located. i think the ring is much easier to work with when off the car.

it takes maybe 15-20 min. to get off.

Oh, those badges are different from the one's I was looking at, nice pieces though, I really like the one inside as well!

I have been thinking about doing the front grill ring in black as well. It looks sharp in flat black IMO.

I just bought a couple of these....

so did you just paint the chrome or what? Sand it down, and spray?

I want to, but I am an amateur when it comes to this stuff. Still trying to find a place in orlando that does mods so I don't f things up myself. Going to get the AMS stage 1 flash whenever I get around to ordering it.

u used vinyl? how did u apply it? outlined the grille as a whole sheet and cut one single piece or did u cut into 4 pieces and did it each side?

how did you paint them? You do them yourself or you get em powder coated?

i was set to do two pieces (upper and lower).

i forgot heat was going to shrink the pieces.

i had to "fill in" with about a 4" section on ether side.

i am going to re-do... and remember to over size the two pieces.

oh yeah , yes i trace the out line of the ring onto the back side of the vinyl.
