18x8 +35
I put on 225 tires on it. They still rub. I put this size on because C22rc, has the same setup with 235's. Both our setups rub. The rear wheel space is soooo small.

They are not a good fit for the RA because the rears rub. They stick out just a little. Evo parts are a lot bigger...
Anything close to this size will rub. I will probably go to 17 inch wheels if I plan on lowering the car.

You need to be in the +40's for offset.
Then you probably won't be able to fit 8" wheels. Or even 8.5".

I plan on getting the fenders rolled and a full Robispec suspension setup. I'm going to do the TSX projector retrofit for the headlights. No tinting for me though. I'll get pulled over all the time.

I'm also waiting for a stage 2 kit. Maybe from Buschur or AMS....Whoever has the best package. Also get flashed from Sean. I don't know about power stuff yet.
So if you got the fenders rolled would the 225's still rub?

Good job. Like how the chrome trim around the nose is black. I know you said you used tape, did you ever get to change it permanently?

Blue is the best colour for the RA IMHO, I would have bought that colour but the only one they had was the "test drive RA" And judging how it was driven with 75km on the clock I didn't want it. Still Blue definitely the best colour.

i have not decided what i am going to do with the ring for permanent.

^Looks like you did a clean job.

I dig the black tape, but not so much the vinyl on the lip.

^Can that even be powdercoated? Don't think the ring is metal nor can it be removed.

The ring can be removed. There are 10 screws, if i remember correctly, that hold the piece onto the bumper.

^Woah really?

I removed my front bumper and I didnt see anything holding it down. I was convinced it was part of the bumper.

I'm not really seure. I think idts the height of the tire as well. Might need to go to 40 profiles. I also had people in t's he back seat. It rubs on most turns in the rear with passengers.

I'm going to put these 225 tires on the oem wheels in the summer. While I lower the car and foll the fenders then find the best wheels. There was a night and day difference in the car's road manners with the larger wheels and tires.

Even my buddy noticed the safer stability.

.the front bumper/nose of the 09 RA is one molded part except for.......

the two upper "mesh" grill inserts , the lower mesh grill insert , the fog lights , the chrome ring and the chrome mitsu emblem.

if the bumper / nose is removed you see all of the screws holding everthing to the molded nose piece.

.......the ring is just chrome plated plastic ! !
