Rear Diffuser

Rear Diffuser
I was looking at this one rear diffuser online and was wondering if it'd be something that would be worth looking into.

Its from thailand which makes me wonder the quality of the product but my question would be would I just end up replacing the bottom lip under my bumper? or would I need to do some special modification to make it fit right?
If my conversion is right it should be like $53US but not really sure.
Anyone have any opinions on this and if it'd be another alternative to getting the accolade bumper?

^You'll have to hit up the Thai lancer forums to find out about quality, that being said... ABS is far better for aero parts then FRP. Now with THAT being said... those add on lips are made for the JDM "shorty" bumpers, so you'll either need to get one of those or modify that lip to fit.

I like that rear diffuser a lot. It's a damn shame that most of this stuff is never offered in the states. 04-06 Lancer/Ralliart owners have like 3 or 4 front lip choices and a few bodykits to go with. I've never been one to do a full bodykit, but a nice front lip or rear lip that doesn't look like it was shaped from cardboard (bulky and boxy) would be great. Getting something sleek and aerodynamic appearently can only be sourced from other countries...

When looking at their site though it seems as if the parts are made for the base lancer without our whole lip/sideskirt kit. So wouldn't the rear diffuser as well as their lip be able to go in place of ours? Cause getting their Evo 9 bodykit which includes everything, the sideskirt look almost as if they're just the RA sideskirts.

what Fifty was saying in his post is that those Lancers are JDM spec which means their front and rear bumper and unlike the US versions, they are rather shorter. So look a little more closely and you can see what we are talking about. Because those lips are made for the short version of thr Lancer Bumper, it would seem they cannot fully wrap around the US bumpers. I'm sure the side skirts would fit, but they don't look nothing fancy. If that company was US located, I bet a lot of people would buy their stuff. Shaved trunk, rear diffuser, front lip. All nice stuff.

I must agree, that rear diffuser is pretty sweet. The rear bumper does look shorter though, I'm sure the diffuser could be modified but ideally, having it bolt on would be best
I've actually seen some really sweet cars in Thailand, I went last year for 3 weeks of Muay Thai training.

I'm not really a body kit guy, but holy cow...if that rear lip were made for USDM, I would definately buy one. That front lip on that site isn't bad either, much better than the duckbill lip available here.
