I rubbed not because of the wheels but because I ran fat sized tires for our car. 17x8 +42 was the size. But it was paired with 225/45/17.

hey k3lv, got my Gold XXR 522's on the car today ,they dont sit as far out and as flush as your work wheels, but they are close. i have to slightly pull the fenders a bit in the rear because of some scrap-age , and have minor plastic rub in the front at full lock, but thats whatever. had to use a 3mm spacer in the rear for a little insurance they wouldn't hit the strut housing. looks nice though, i see why you went with the wider wheel, feels alot better on the road and cornering. pics are up in my thread.
