Is this stock color?

 

nope...it was originally red. i checked the plate under the hood. according to the carfax though, it lists it as being sold from the dealer to the original owner as "gold"

 

Oh I see. I wonder why previous owner went red to gold? imo, red looks much better. That said, I'm not really a fan of both.

 

That's crazy the previous owner must of worked at a paint and body shop. You have a gray/silver engine bay, gold outside and a possible red original paint.

 

Yeah and there's a bit of blue showing in the wheel well where the paint is coming off lol. The guy I bought i from only had it for about 12000km and knew nothing. Only one owner before him and I know he had done some mods. Maybe he did work at a body shop or something. good guess. Wish i could talk to him lol. At least the carfax was clean.

The guy I bought it from left it so dirty...coffee stains in places. so much dirt in the footwells. Didn't even know what kinda tires were on it. I'm trying to make it as nice as i can. I just wish money grew on trees lol.

Carfax is useless, take any info it gives with a grain of salt.

Doubt it was in any sort of major accident, though, everything looks to be mounted straight, it's just missing some pieces.

 

figured i'd update this....I've got a few little cosmetic things done but posted in other areas. Got my new mesh grill and emblem put on today...had to take the front bumper off to get the grill out but only took about 20 minutes.

 

you had to take the bumper off???

 

yeah...I could reach some of the clips from the top of the bumper but to get to the corners, I had to take it off.

 

That's crazy never heard of having to do all that for the grill wow lol.

I don't have fogs so it only takes like 2 seconds to take my bumper off.

seriously....it's a phone camera and it's not that bad....pictures also get resized to approx. 100k when uploaded to this site. can a mod just delete that? I don't want crap taking up my thread.
