Recaro seats for the Ralliart
I guess this would be the appropriate forum to ask this question
Has anyone put the Evo's Recaro seats into there Ralliart yet? I was at the dealership the other day checking out the Evo's and thought those seats would look and feel real cool in a Ralliart.
I am sure Mitsubishi if they sold em would charge through the nose for em. Does anyone think it would be a simple install?
thanks

Ya, most seats have 4 or 6 bolts to hold them on the tracks. There very easy
factory evo seats would be expensive. My wife works for Mitsu I'll have her get prices for me and I'll post them when I get out of work

Damn! I would say you're better off just getting a set of reddish aftermarket seats from somewhere else.
Plus, that blue would throw off the entire interior scheme of the RA. You would have to switch out the rear seats and the fabric trim on the doors to make it work.
Get some red Sparcos. Or.....perhaps the JDM RA seats are cheaper to acquire. Plus they're Recaros. And they follow the same color scheme as ours.

Guys, as far as stock EVO seat prices, you can't buy them as one piece. Various dealers look up the "seat" and quote prices on whatever part they happen to find. Fact is, you have to buy all the pieces and put them together yourself (back, bottom, mechanisms, etc), and that's anywhere from nearly $3,000 from mitsubishiparts.net to about $3,500 from my local dealer. Yes that price is per seat.

One thing to keep in mind the US Evo seats have much less give in them, and can wear out your body if you do a lot of city driving or commuting (learned the hard way -- much prefer the UKDM Evo seats we get in the RA!).
