Question carbon fiber splitter / tinting the taillights

i have two questions for everybody.. number one, does anyone know if the carbon creations universal 2 peice splitters will fit the 04 ralliart front bumper. my guess is that they will, i was just wondering if anyone had a pic or if anyone had input.. and secondly..

i have the stock euro taillights.. instead of getting those cheap carbon fiber lights, i was thinking about maybe trying to tint my taillights. the idea came about from a someone local to me who has a passat, he tinted his 5% and it looked nice, anyone have any thoughts on this?

yeah post pics bc i think you are talking about canards instead of a splitter. also have you thot about blacking out your tails instead of tinting them? think tha twould look better.

here's a pic of the splitters..

and as far as blacking out taillights.. what's actually involved in that, and who could do it? the guy that tinted his tallights doesn't have a computer, and he doesn't come around a whole lot, but next time i see him, i'll get a pic.

all im seeing is a red x.

look in the us lancer "how tos" for the how to for blacking out headlihgts bc it would be the same for tails. pretty easy, dont take it somewhre to do it. tinting your tails is easier but doesnt look as nice and some cops will pull you over for it. if you decide to tint, def dont get someboyd to do it bc that is a major waste of monye when all you do is spray stuff on top of the tails.

do not microwave them, that would be abid mistake, you put them in the oven, it sounds risky but its not really. ite pretty easy, tons and tons of ppl do it.

As far as I'm concerned, univeral means you can fit it on one way or another, but there's no guarantee it's going to look good.
