Just visited RIPP

I just went to RIPP today to check out the SDS. It's gonna be sweet, probably expect 80-100hp extra from the sds. I saw the ralliart they are testing the sds with, it's an automatic. I let Ross try out my 5 speed and he loved it, even wanted to purchase one just off that little test drive. He let me check out the SDS as well. The SDS sounds bada$$, so start saving up. They're a great bunch of guys over there and seem very enthusiastic about the ralliart. So if you're seriously interested, please let them know.

The roots type blower could never be as efficient as the centrifigul... if you're going to go supercharged the vortech is the only way to go.

To answer some of ??'s about ignition and fuel control. RIPP uses a really advanced piggy back. Its adaptive and almost acts like a hybid standalone/piggy back. It controls timing and fuel curves very well maintaining a preset value thru all conditions. It has an active open loop mapping capability as well from what i've seen. Of course they won't give you all their details but from what i've seen/played with on that car it's really a great piggyback.

If there were any issues with the backpressure in the car you could always just get the downpipe for it... then there are no cats in the system to bog you down.

I just checked and they finally posted some pictures of it. And from what say is the easiest install that they have so far. From what I saw it does look like it just drops right in there. I can't wait

do you need a Intercooler? i'm not exactly 100 pecent sure how supers work... i know they "Boost up" by sapping a little engine power... but i know they're constant through the powerband.

Sh*t ... if the price is right, sign me up.
