I guess I don't know what you mean by this reply. A used EVO8 turbo will be less expensive than a new T3, that is a fact. Unless you buy an XS POwer or some chepie T3 but then you would be stupid. They use epoxy to hold the cartridge to the compressor inlet housing. I am sure that will last a LONG time...NOT.

Wow I have nothign to say that will help you change your mind. What is a long time, a year?
A 14B/TD05 in a daily-driven DSM lasted longer than the block on a daily driven 90GSX. It went 200k miles. You will NEVER see a XS Power POS last that long.

Yeah , i gues you're right. Evo stock turbines are indestructible. Is just that i thought it'll be easier with a aftermarket turbo.

You could very well make 230-250fwhp on a homebrew kit on pump gas with an aggresive tune, but it will cost depending on if you know where to buy your stuff and what your doing 2,500-4,500 dollars.
