I agree. its messing with freedom of speach, and buyers beware. its like "hmm they have bad business, but since they pay us money to advertise, SCREW THE CUSTOMERS more money for us!" I dont wanna say anything else cuz i dont want this thread to be closed, but for anybody who wants to know how bad turbo trix did me dirty, PM me and i'll tell you the story. its actually disgraceful. bad business... Never taking my car there again.

here is a bad comment. So you paid all that money and not break 300whp. You just dropped about 10k on mods. Sell that and get an Evo. You lancers guys are ridiculous.

Ah leave it to the usual dumb*** evo owner comment, maybe we all dont want to own an evo and have high monthly payments and even higher monthly insurance. I know I enjoyed paying only 10k for my car and paying only $100 a month for full coverage and coverage on all my mods!!

Must be nice to have mommy and daddy help buy you an evo. and the insurance. I dropped about 3 seoncs off my 1/4 mile time. Did you do the same to your car? you running mid 11's? no? than shut up. I put alot into this car. its nice for what it is. You want a fast car, go buy a Lamborgini, not a 4 banger seden...

ANYWAY, enough making fun of lil boys over the internet....

Its time for me to get tires. Now i know im gona get bashed for searching, but this is a subject that people can search for days, and still be like "ok which are better, these or these".

So people reading this, what kind of tires should I get. I really dont care about turning at all. I just want somethat that'll make me hook at the 1/4mile and good for daily driver.

Right now I am sitting on 17 inch rims. The tires I'm using are BALD! Hancook Ventus HR2. The tire size is 215/40R17 83H

Now yes im retarted and i dont know what most of them numbers mean lol...
What kind of tire, and what size tire, should i get for best traction on the 1/4 mile, but decent for daily driver?

Thanks for the help, and im too lazy to search. 1,000,0000,000 results come up

I don't know about down the 1/4, but the bfgoodrich KDW2's are lasting a nice long time for me so far. put them on the first of July, just rotated them now with the fronts ~1/2 gone and the rear slightly worn. very good tire, available in the same size you are using now (same as mine). it's a summer tire though, so if you are looking for all season it's not for you.

I bought pirelli p6's last time for winter tires, but I did not use them this winter and don't have many miles on them aside from a trip to Kentucky when I first bought them. Nice ride, performed well in all climates that I drove in, including a little snow if I remember correctly.

I can throw my stock wheels on for winter tires. Not worreid about it. All i want to do is get my car at 13.09 with a good 60' time. And be able to drive the car home afterwords lol. What you recommend, the kdw2's?? They better than the gforce sports??

and what about Nitto?

You will notice i posted this subject up in the tire section to lol.. trying to get all the advice i can lol.

unless you go with a drag tire you aren't really gonna get any better than the kdw2's. they are excellent in the wet too. kdw2 is one step up from the sports. I don't know much about the nittos

T/A KDW 2 get them not the T/A KDW. there 2 diffrent ones.

215/40ZR17
Load Index 87 = 1201lbs (545kg) per tire
Speed Rating “Y” = 186mph (300kph) 87Y XL= extra load
300 threadwear
AA for traction, thats max
A for temp, thats max to.

i have povo tires on(just got them replaces today)
maxxis 205/40/17, they were 189 per wheel
but they also said for 250 per tyre i could get some pirelli(sp?) i think he said that would give alot better grip and last longer.

also just a quick Q, for people with lowered rides, do u notice ur tyres get used up faster(sorry to take over ROL), coz this is my second set(first car) and they lasted about 16000km/2years - yeah i dont drive alot but when i do its pretty hard but yeah, coz they said coz i had it lowered they it puts extra 'weight'/stess on the tyre so they get used up faster - esp they showed me on the inside line

on summer tires I get less than 10k. I've used a tire in as little as ~8000 miles. it really depends on your driving, lowering isn't going to hurt unless you can't get it aligned well enough afterward for some reason or another.

side note here - if anyone is looking for an all season near equivalent the kdws's are your boys.
