No doubt for I prefer playing with manual transmissions as well... heck I learned to drive in a 1972 Ford Pinto and had nothing but stick shift up until 2001 when I met my future wife and she purchased the IS300. I felt geriatric when I purchased the AT FRONT WHEEL DRIVE Sportback in 2004 at (42) years old!

Some days in traffic I wish I had an AT. I have had my left knee repaired twice, thanks to 12 years of semi-pro Football (I sound like Al Bundy) I am the same age I guess getting old, broken and lazy has a lot to do with it.

You're not even forty years old yet Brent! My left leg has atrophied from not having a clutch over the years that I'm now driving my car like a go-cart and applying left foot braking. A bit of a learning curve to get use to but it's giving my left leg something to do. Sometimes it gets me in trouble though when the clutch synapses start to fire and I jam the brake through the floor, nearly causing an accident.

I know this isn't what you guys are waiting for, but it's raining here, and although "snails" do come out in the rain, the good stuff will have to wait.
For now, this is what came to fruition:
After centering the adhesive stencil, I masked off and left these letters exposed then applied four coats of a darker red to better match the car:
...Then, I exposed these symbols and tried to apply a fade to the end by shooting steady to the left of the stencil, then sweeping quickly to the right. I applied four coats repeating this technique each time:
Using a blow dryer to expedite my impatience in the moisture, I unmasked and remasked for the bottom letters and applied four coats of gloss black:
Shooting photos from the front didn't do justice (lighting issues) so I played with different angles and came up with these which, appear to show the proper effects. I hope Michael and Brent approve:

I called Brent, he laughed with approval, asked me if Hackish saw it yet (not yet), asked me where I got the stencil (http://stores.ebay.com.au/streetfxx/...d=474148713485), and wants to do the same to his car...
