1. AC coil won't be in until Friday

2. Battery was nearly dead again this morning, even with the front green ECU taken out overnight. I'll have to resume pulling off the negative battery cable UFN.

3. Wired/routed the boost gauge ALL AFTERNOON. I have it sitting in the change drawer by my left knee until I get a dual gauge pod. I noted 6-7 psi which coincides with 7 psi which Hackish calculated. Nine more days before I hit the road for Ottawa for a dyno by Hackish.

4. I'M GETTING BURNED OUT BY ALL THIS DISASSEMBLY / ASSEMBLY PROCESS!

You're not the first to recommend this. I'll see what I can find...

Bro-in-law gave me a single gauge pod to use in the interim. which I mounted/adhered to top of the steering column, next to the other single gauge pod. It actually looks decent with the top of all mph numbers, 0 - 130, and temp / fuel gauge still visible (pictures tomorrow).

A/C coil shipped and arrives Friday.

Something caused my AFR to go lean, 13 - 14, during boost, even at WOT in all gears... I'm afraid something's going to go POP or BANG! At WOT in third gear (manual mode) near 6500 rpm the engine coughs/chokes before shifting gears. This has never happened before. I rewrote the tune to my ECU but no change.

Any ideas?

First thing I did! But, darn it, it didn't log a file again! I've asked Michael the proper sequence of how to datalog but I must have done something wrong again...frustrating.

1. Connect to ECU
2. Check data log
3. Open gauges
4. Open (I forget what the red/green check box list is called).
5. Exit software when finished
6. Retrieve file from Documents/uvtune/datalog and email.

What'd I do wrong? Do I need an Internet connection while data logging?

Btw, the same switches are on all four doors so I swapped the rear driver side door with the driver door...so far, so good, headlights and interior fan motor shuts off after removing the key from the ignition then opening the driver door, and no dead battery for two mornings! I also disassembled the driver kick/fuse panel, pulled every connector I could find, and sprayed them with cleaner. I'm still not convinced...I'll keep you abreast on the results....

you don't need to view the gauges, and the data list is where you select what is being logged...try ending the data log but don't disconnect.

"End the datalog" by unchecking it? It's still a mystery as to what I'm doing/not doing, for sometimes I datalog kb's and sometimes I log "0" kb's... Anyhow, I was able to create (5) files for Michael to look at when he becomes available again.

Unfortunately, the electrical gremlin came back this afternoon so I'm back to square one...

The AC Coil came in this afternoon and tomorrow morning I will work on it...

Now my AFR's appear to be behaving normally again...weird. Maybe the sensor was plugged or something? Checked my vacuum lines, which were ok.

UGH, I think I started at around noon and got finished at 19:30 this evening! I should know better but I was really hoping that the DIY thread that I read was going to unfold as easy as it sounded. Anxiety set in after contemplating how the compressor pulley was supposed to remove easily after removing the retaining clip. It obviously did not and ended up requiring a puller that I had to rent from Autozone. A BIG PLUS was that I was able to replace the compressor coil without having to remove the entire compressor from the engine compartment. Here are the steps that it required:

1. Remove the negative cable from the battery
2.. Jack up the right front side of the car
3. Remove the right front tire
4. Remove the serpentine belt from the AC pulley ONLY
5. Remove the 14 millimeter nut and remove the clutch plate (locate/remove shims)
6. Remove the pulley retaining clip, and remove the pulley with the puller (I had to detach the front bumper/clip and the windshield wiper reservoir mounting bolts, then set the reservoir off to the side on a box (tubing still attached), to make room for the puller...ugh!).
7. Remove the coil retaining clip, then remove the coil
8. Install new coil...reassemble in reverse order, DON'T FORGET THE SHIMS!

I HAVE ICE COLD AC AGAIN, WOHOOOOOO!
