actually one more off topic, sorry Orlando.

morpheus, you said you were about six hours from washington state? would you be interested in helping us crack into the RA ecu? jcbanks lives in WA and is looking for a ralliart to hook up to his tactrix cable. we don't know if it's a bootloader problem or not and until we take that step we can't move any further. There are no RA's in the area where the gurus are available to troubleshoot ecuflash for us.

Orlando, I am not sure I asked before but do you have any spare ECU's lying around? malibujack said he would try and make time to bench test an ECU until he could crack it, but I don't have one. Obviously it won't be damaged, and if either of you won't pay to ship it I will pay BOTH damn directions.

OK, thanks for listening

hmm. I think I will start a post in RA general...

List

Ok so since the remaining stuff will arrive this week I started the list
CYL HEAD Project:

1-Obviously cyl head: purchased from CAR PARTS search for 2004 lancer and then 2.4 lt NOTICE: GALANT, ECLIPSE and OUTLANDER 2.4 works too.
PRICE : 250.00 shipped this included the head camshaft all valve train and even the valve cover

2-CERAMIC COATINGS: I purchased the shop retail but you guys should be able to purchase the water based which I have to tell ya is basically the same **** only it takes a little more to cure in the oven. Here it is COATINGS
PRICE: 90 shipped for the whole set of piston reflective coating (for piston tops combustion chambers valve faces and intake exhaust ports and also for the IM flange and bottom part. If you apply them right you will end up with almost 3/4 of each original quantity so you still have plenty for more hehe.

3- VITON Valve Stem Seals and BRONZE GUIDES: Got em for a 4G64 engine at a performance ebay store ebay store. NOTICE; There was also a comment that 4G94 also work but I dont know ....
PRICE: 115.00 for both shipped

4- OEM HEADGASKET + IM gasket: You need the IM gasket in order to get the cyl head ported up to their size. You dont need the Exhaust gasket since it is rounded and its easy to get it ported. I bought them online here HEADGASKET+IMGASKET
NOTE: I also found a pace willing to make a custom copper or three layer Headgasket for 125.00 but I didn't considered that neccesary.
PRICE: 65.00 shipped

5- MACHINNING and VALVE TRAIN INSTALLATION:
PORTING: 200
MILL and VALVE JOB: 200

INTAKE MANIFOLD:

1- IM : Got it from guess where carparts But this time you need to get it from a OUTLANDER MIVEC 2.4 or LANCER 2.4 2004+
PRICE: 125 shipped
2- PORTING : LOCAL SHOP
PRICE: 60.00
3- COMPRESSOR + PAINT GUN RENTAL: Unless you have one its important that you apply the coatings @ 50 psi
PRICE: 25.00
4- PAINTS AND COATINGS: If you started the CYL HEAD you already have the REFLECTIVE COATING soo its the only one you need. Paint I suggest you get the red caliper paint or any color you want but made for heat. Mine was from WALMART
PRICE: 10.00

CAMSHAFT:

1- Camshaft: INcluded with the cyl head purchase!!!!!!
PRICE: 0
2- REGRIND+STRENGHT TREATMENT: I am still waiting on the shop to finish mine they are in the middle of a moving so once its done I will edit this and add the place price was quoted. NOTE: This camshaft will have even more gains because its deigned with ALL MY MODS in mind and they are all BREATHING mods soo expect much more gain from it than RRM or RPW.. and the REDLINE POWERBAND WAS EXTENDED
PRICE QUOTED: 200.00

SOME OTHER THOUGHTS: NOTICE YOU WILL HAVE A SPARE IM and SPARE CYL HEAD TOO and for MUCH LESS MONEY

I WILL EDIT THIS IN TIME BUT FOR NOW
DO THE MATH PLEASE I AM TIRED OF WRITING
