I can hear your clutch slipping, either because you still have the modulator in and the clutch is slow or your foot is slow. How long have you been driving a stick? How old are you for that matter? That's one question I rarely ask someone, because I don't think it matters much, but I am curious.
I'm not picking on you, but if I can hear your clutch slipping in a video of your car you need some footwork improvement. Just trying to give constructive criticism man, don't get bent out of shape please.

lol, well it depends.
Are you talking about the first video or the second? The first video is my friend driving, and he thought he was in first gear but was in third. Thats why you hear the engine rev hard in second because he downshifted.
If its the second video then that was me. Had wheel spin in second gear as you can clearly hear.
Keep in mind, these were one just one off and I was worried cause these were in suburban streets lol
23 as of 2 days ago and been driving manual full-on for about 2 years now.

I might add as well, when I got the car back, in my review I did say the clutch felt weird.
Quote from previous post on Page 5.
Clutch:
The stock clutch on the other hand felt a bit "loose". Didn't feel as spongy as before prior to the install, and I feel as though the cams contributed much to the new feel. It felt like I needed a new clutch (maybe I do ) because I was applying more friction than usual to the clutch. I guess thats considered normal with an aggressive cam profile. Clutch is probably next on the list for those hard launches!

I will review the video again when I get home, I may have been listening too hard trying to hear your motor and evaluating how it sounded. Sounds good, btw, too bad you are in AU or I'd ask for a ride!
how big of a difference did you notice in the clutch? that's a little strange.
page one for me man

Its funny you mention that Dan, because after reviewing the vids, I do notice a bit of slow shifting.
I don't like the "gear change ...... and ..... gear change" - I'd much prefer "Gear change, *BAM* gear change!"
I agree. I've done 11,800 miles on this clutch though.
When I first got the car back I was like "wtf.. I had to ride the clutch a little bit more to get friction point". My other friend got in the car and noticed the same thing. When he was reversing down the driveway I was like "Hey easy on the clutch!".
I'll try it again sometime this week and see if I can get better gear changes.
Might do some of the following:
1. Hood up - Idle
2. Hood up - Rev
3. Another driveby
4. Rev-limiter
- 1st - 2nd
- 2nd gear roll

you shouldn't have to slip the clutch at all between gears, not to say just pop the clutch and floor the gas either. I just thought I heard you slipping the clutch a little and was wondering why. It could be you, could be the modulator, but it may be an issue that just recently showed up as you say. that's why I asked really, to provide feedback. I will check out the video tonight, it's blocked at work.
Definitely do some more vids, flybys suck imo I'm an in car under load kinda guy.
