I don't think so. that's why I keep telling him to read some

the safcii, neo, and RRM's piggy all do the same thing but have different features.

well... our MAF Sensor gives out an interesting output that some devices have a hard time reading, or that's what i think it is.. but that's the reason why we had so many problems with the SAFC. If the neo is also a afc then it'll probably be just as fun figuring out too. Give it a shot, if it works write up a how to, if it doesn't try referring to the 10+ threads but mainly 2-3 that are great about the SAFC and it'll probably point you in the right direction.

I guess i'm not so much saying it won't work.. it'll just be a while to get it working...

The SAFCII is untested. just because you can hook up and duplicate a voltage doesn't mean modifying that voltage will have the desired effect. no one who has the unit installed has posted up telling us how to do it until Jessie15, and until he gets a wideband UEGO sensor and tries to make changes to his fuel through the MAP sensor it remains untested and therefore may not actually work. this is one of the methods I will be trying this weekend on the SMT-6, though I am not sure if I will get that far.

deja vu? it really seams like I have posted almost this exact same comment in another thread...

could be a "bad" install, ie when u did the SRI, maybe there is a leak somewhere and there is unmetered air flowing in casueing lean,
same thing for the IM, installed, air seeping in, unmetered, lean

I am leaning more towards trying this if my o2 sensor programming doesn't work, and if it doesn't modify fuel then I will go to the MAF as a last resort. It's apparently the most complicated to mess with on the car That's also another reason why I think the MAP sensor won't modify fuel trims, RRM had to get with Split Second on the MAF sensor for some reason other than they just didn't think to use the MAP sensor. Not to mention I have read online that the MAP sensor only checks the EGR system.

well i dont see how they could messed up an install on the an IM and SRI, its not too difficult. but regardless, i feel the check engine light would turn on due to the ported intake manifold sucking more air into the engine that the stock ecu is recognizing to be too much.

but if it was done properly - no leaks - even tho the ported IM holds more air, it still would be metered and the ecu would add more fuel as necesary(sp?)

i say check for leaks:
that the manifold gasket is right,
all hoses/piping correct and tight,
make sure maf sensor is screwed on properly but not too tight
