he is unsure he spelled necessary correctly. Steve, you don't use Firefox? It has automatic spell check.
did you reuse the gasket? not that I think that's the problem, but out of the two manifold gaskets that's the side I wouldn't reuse.
I am not positive but I think the only people having this problem don't have a fuel controller or a wideband. you can't diagnose something like this without the proper tools. you can either live with it or make the necessary changes to your car to get rid of the light.

do what I did man, sell it to someone else. (yes, I remember that you are the guy I pawned mine off on ) or you could sell the safc unit instead, you already have the piggy hooked up. unless you are going turbo you don't need timing, and the safc just has more features not actual functions, so your tune would be pretty close to the same. I am not sure what the resolution is on the SAFC, but the split second unit is
