im confused then, why was there all the talk of "needing" to port the IM's inlet side to match? when yours is on there without the IM ported and its working fine...
Wow club4g got a new look, it hurts my eyes to read the reversed type

Needing is the wrong word, its not needed to port the IM's inlet to get the throttle body to work. It will work regardless. HOWEVER, you should do it cause the IM's inlet is now smaller then the throttle body so without porting it, it will cause a restriction in airflow. Regardless it's an easy job and you can do it yourself.

Couple of points though, when you buy you new TB make sure it comes with the TPS. If you try and swap the Ralliart's TPS onto the TB it will not work. You need the 3.8l TB and TPS. Also if you search ebay for PAM's Auto they have 3.8l throttle bodies for roughly $130 and if you offer something lower like $110 he will normally go for it.

I've said that like 70 times in this forums, I think I even said it on this thread

the TB will bolt on the intake manfifold, but you will have 5mm restriction cause the intakemanifold inlet its 60mm and the TB its 65mm, its simple to understand. Im even surprise the TB opens, i mean, 5mm its a lot the throttle plate can get stuck in there...

I think people were just getting stuck on the word "needing" thinking that without it, it wouldn't work.
