Its a direct bolt on, just make sure the new TB comes with the TPS (little black box), you can not use the RA one.

Side note... I have a horribly running car at the moment that I am thinking it is the o2 sensor (front o2), however I will know for sure in about a week and a bit (just waiting on some parts). If the car is still running as rough as it is then I'm thinking it may be the TB and cold whether + TB coolant bypass (in Ottawa we just had a cold snap of -30 or so celsius). The car has been running the 3.8L TB for about 6 months now and only started giving me issues in the last few weeks. Does that make sense?

You can definitely feel a change, car pulls harder, picks up quicker, throttle response is improved, but overall the car is much louder (can be a positive or a negative depending on your tastes, I find it a little annoying sometimes). When you step on it you hear the air rushing in, its very noticeable.

Fifty, why wont the RA tps/motor not swap onto the gt V6 tb? Is it because bolt patterns dont align?

^ Truthfully not sure, if you read back to the first or second page in this thread it was discussed. People tried it and the car would bog down. When I got mine I never bothered trying to use the RA (or 4 cylinder eclipse for that matter) TPS, I just made sure the new TB had the TPS and I used that one.

Side note... did you get any more info from Outlaw I thought that product was due out at the end of Jan?

Very interesting topic I must admit. The only thing really that keeps me away from this MOD is the fact that the car is much louder. I do a lot of highways and long road (sometimes 5 hours and up). I'd get used to it but I got rid of my custom muffler because it was too loud.

Anyway, if somebody can get a dyno with this mod, that would be interesting to see the results.

Wake, how much did you pay for your V6 throttle body ?
