I got my parts in the mail this week (GT TB and Intake manifold), and on the 4G board we did a group buy on the RPW thermal spacers and those are in transit, and so when they come in I will get the porting of the mainfold done. I also bought a cpl of gauges (vaccuum & wideband) to monitor the differences between the stock IM & TB vs. ported IM & GT TB.

I am not sure on how well this will work for me without anyway to tune it at this time. I have yet to purchase the AEM F/IC piggyback unit. I will install the gauges next weekend and then the new TB and manifold the following weekend.

Hopefully all will go well, if not I'll just put the Stock TB back on and try it again once I buy the F/IC.

I installed mine today...I like!!!

This erase the lag time between the press on the gas and the reaction of the motor! This is more quick but the car is searching the idle for 3 to 5 sec at every lights!!!

I'll see on the track what this give!!!

Great mod to do...

BTW, I have a stock RA TB for sale...60$CAN+shipping

I know somebody that will buy the throttle body off you NOW, but only if it comes with the sensor.

i think when u do this v6 throttle body swap, u need to chance the tps (throttle position sensor) anyway, dont you??? if you do, and if you have the stock TPS, i know somebody that'll buy that off you ASAP.... do u have the tps?

No check engine...the idle searching has stop..maybe the ECU has learn that the TB is bigger!!!

You don't have to change the TPS when you do the swap!!! The GT V6 TB has the same TPS.

I'll sent a message to your friend.
