It lasts too long...says the jiffy lube employee.
I use mobilone extended performance, but I know...i'm not a ralliart. Used royal purple before mob 1 but it just feels the exact same, maybe only way to really know is send it off to get tested.

I have not heard of anything bad in particular, I love the extended oil change intervals!
The oil will outlast the filter a few times over with everyday driving.

There was a lot of sarcasm in my comment about the extended life, that just doesn't come through in a forum post. Changing every 5k is what I do, but I don't use amsoil either. amsoil does recommend 15k in some cases, 7k in some case, and then "under heavy use and turbochargers" they still say 3k or manufacturer specification, so just be sure you aren't over running your oil.
As far as JiffyLube, they'll always say "every 3k" no matter what, because they don't want to lose business. For me, I just always say use a synthetic if you have a turbo, because it stands up to heat better...then choose the brand you like (amsoil, redline, RP, mobile1)

I don't use FB much. Click on my username and send me a private message using from there.
Check the Amsoil website, they list the local dealers there, or you can buy directly from their website. BG Synchroshift is manual gear oil, check their website, it's plausible they may have something for automatic gear boxes.
Here you go. I change my oil every 2-3 years due to New England weather.

Tried the RP gear oil, was not a fan.
