belt tensioner
now that it has been cold out side, every time I start my car up I hear a ticking noise coming from the belt/pulley area. After about 2 minutes after it warms up the noise goes away. I was thinking about replacing the tensioner. Does anyone know how to remove the tensioner? I found this one on rockautos site (http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=1330613)
also does anyone know of a good serpentine belt to purchase also?
thanks in advanced!

If my memory serves me correctly, it's just the center bolt, and another smaller one.
The belt, being what it is, just get whatever replacement, and buy 2, so i have one as a spare. It's not a timing belt, i wouldn't worry about quality too much.
What makes you think it's the tensioner? have you check for proper tension? You measure belt deflection.

Installed the tension yesterday! It went super good. The hardest part was holding the tensioner back with one arm and un-doing the belt. "Crankswick" It ended up just being 2 bolts. The main center bold and a bottom right bolt that went through the oil filter housing. Everything is running good, and my squeaky bearing is gone. Thanks guys for all the help!!

i was thinking of replacing the idler pulley and tensioner along with the belt. not sure what else could be causing the squeak cause the water pump is new and i dont think my alternator is an issue?
my car is at 130k miles and on the original tensioner and idler pulley so figured might as well swap them out unless they're supposed to last longer?
