eclipse/outlander 4g69 final drive

did someone tried the eclipse 4cyl or outlander 04-06 manual transmission final drive in thier ralliart???

how different are they? will it bolt up? i have my stock differential, anyone have (or can get) the gear in question?

the transmission on eclipse and out. 4cyl is aprox 4.4 to 1 , cause they hav bigger tires. i don't know if it works but i guess that works cause its the same transaxle (fwd version of outlander)... wanted to know if someone already do it!! don't expect great gas millage lol ..

if the differential are the same (this is the same case so i assume it' the same diff) you need the output shaft and the crown gear that bolts on the diff to make it 4.4-1

when i saw this thread i also wondered about the galant transmission that we share an engine with. when i drove it it seemed to have a better geared 4th gear as i was cruising on the highway at 70 or so and the rpm was around the 2.5k range as opposed to the 3-3.5k that we get with the RA

do the galant come with the manual transmission for you?? here in canada i did not see one!?

My galant is an auto 4g69 I don't think they have a manual option.
