^^ I want to use the Clutch Masters flywheel and was wondering if I got 25mm long bolts if that would work without having to cut them.

My way was to measure the thicknesses of the flywheel and any "washer plates" you're going to use, add the depth of the threaded holes in the end of the crank, subtract about 0.050-0.080" for bolt end clearance in the threaded crank holes, and that is your bolt length. Use vernier calipers, not a tape measure.

I wouldn't guess at this. Bolts too short and you will strip bolt threads upon torquing, too long and you bottom out before reaching maximum bolt torque. And the threaded holes in the end of the crank are not deep, they only accept 0.8 to 1 times bolt diameter - at the very edge of acceptable minimum thread engagement.

Chances are good you won't find the length you need in a stock size, but check anyway with your fastener supplier, or Ziggy at RTM - phone him, he's the man and has different lengths of OEM Mitsu flywheel bolts (inexpensive) in stock as well as ARP stuff (very expensive).

If you need them cut, send them to me and I will do it.

p.s. Review the notes in my "aluminum flywheel" thread.
