Tornado or Spiralmax

Has anyone installed a tornado or a spiralmax into their intake? I would think its a good part to install, they say you can have 1 along with a turbo and up to 4 without a turbo. I think it would be an easy couple of horsepower numbers. Does anybody have anythoughts?

And most Infomercials say they can "get you rich quick," but do they always do that?

I've been under the impression that these devices are a waste of time on smaller-motor cars (such as ours). They have their potentially positive points and not-so-good ones as well, but I would steer clear of them with an RA.

Just go get a K&N panel filter if you want some cheap and easy hp. At least they've been time-tested and proven under a bunch of different conditions.

Sarcasm is not need right now. Neither is a get rich quick skeem cause my finanial resources are abundant. I'm just looking for ways to put more hp into my RA without voiding my warranty, i just ordered a k and n filter and a short shifter, im just looking for more stuff to burn money on.

dont waste your money. I actually burned that money a while back and I hate myself for falling for somthing like that to this day. It is nothing but a restriction in the intake. Did nothing for any of the 3 cars we tried it on (99 Eclipse RS, 2000 Eclipse RS, 91 Eclipse GST). IF...and a BIG IF, it did anything, not noticable even a little. My 2000 Eclipse felt slower. Hope that helps.

Wow, a bit COCKey huh? If your
finanial resources are abundant
why the Ralliart over EVO? I have had a Tornado on my first truck and it DID up my MPG. However being as your rich n all, maybe u should just skip simple bolt ons and go straight to a turbo? Maybe a custom wide body kit and some bad *** 18's or 19'? Make something that nobody else has. Dont buy something someone else has, make your own.
Other wise, look to RRM and body-kit.com like the rest of us.

I didnt get my money back because my dumbass lost the 2 boxes that had the 2 tornado's in them when I moved to Alabama for school. I had every intention of getting my money back. Sounds pretty irresponsible of me at the time, and it probably was. Sure wish I did get that money back at that time because I was hurtin at that time too.

I will tell you guys in a little while how the Turbonator works..... Yeah I know it's probably crap..... and I did some reasearch getting mixed reviews about it.. There was 2 factors why I ordered it. First off one off our customers at my shop had one on his jeep and he said that there was an improvement on performance.......in his mind????? I'm not sure. Secondly the concept to me is kind of interesting with the vortex system. There are obviously a lot of companies offering the same product but different names which makes me think there might be a little truth to the product....... Even if it squeezed out a fraction of what it says it would be a good add on. I'm not saying I buy into the Turbonator,Spiralmax etc. but it was cheap enough to order it to see. There are many small inexpensive tricks you can do to your vehicle that a lot of people overlook that creates power.....thermostat, header wrap etc. That's all I'm saying that since this is a cheap piece of steel ..... everyone automatically thing it's crap..... I've seen posts and comments all over different forums..... and the senses is that everyone that doesn't have it thinks it's crap and ..... 75% of the people that have it, thinks it works to a degree. Maybe it's in their mind.... I don't know. What I do know is soon I'll let you know.
