Oil Pan Replacements?
Hello!
Huge misunderstanding on my part with the original post. I will edit it to ask another question I had.
Can we use an oil pan from an Outlander that also has the 4g69 motor? My obvious assumption was yes but I called a few junk yards and a couple of them were hesitant about it. One said he had already sold one and assured me the customer said it did not fit.
Rockauto shows the same part numbers for both.
Somewhat related question, anyone have jack points for holding the engine up while removing the passenger side engine mount? I couldn't find any and I read that a solid piece of wood the covered the majority of the oil pan should be good. Apparently it took a toll on my oil pan (which was already bent before I even bought it) and it's slowly leaking now hence the replacement question.
Thanks!
