Timing belt wear?

Hey guys just have a few questions, I replaced my Timing belt and tensioners/ pulleys 5000 km ago. I just pulled the top cover to check on it and my idler pulley had a stripe on it that looks as if its been rubbing more than the rest of the belt. Pics of the pulley and belt are below, any ideas? As you can see on the bottom of the pulley theres a noticeable line

Are these all OEM Mitsu parts or bits from the famous Gates engine-wrecker kit? Hmm, let me guess...

Tooth side looks fine, I dont see anything abnormal in the belt. I spoke to my mechanic today and he said thats normal as its where the edge of the belt is running
