Brake fluid vs. Clutch fluid

Have these always been the same thing? I always thought they were different. The auto parts store sells both. WTF?

Not sure if it's different for the Ralliart, but I'm pretty sure they've always been the same reservoir on the non-Evo Lancers at least. The fluid itself isn't much different, at least from my less-than-expert opinion on fluids and materials, so I imagine it's commonplace to combine them in some cases.

They are the same thing. When I upgraded to my ss line I got motoul dot 4 synthtic brake fluid to replace my clutch fluid, the stuff was $12 for 500 ml.
