Not to burst any bubles, but... where are all the details to this contest. People are going ahead and making logos that might not even be able to be used. Is this logo simply for the website becuase if it is then great, everyone can take a shot at this. If Carbon Trix is looking to use this logo on all their promotional pieces and advertising then the logo should be done in a program like Illustrator or freehand. Otherwise any 72 dpi image that is developed can not be used on advertising, tshirts, or any promotional products what-so-ever.
Again not to be a dink, but it would be a waste of time to develop a logo in photoshop at 72 dpi and then assume it can be used anywhere.

well below are some logos i have come up with there is a 3d spin and a regular 1 dimensional....these logos were all created in Adobe Illustrator....and can easily be used for screen printing ... die cut stickers or whatever....

you know . . . I bet Carbon Trix isn't the only one that wants logos designed.
All you designer-folk could probably make a little money designing stuff for people on here.
