Where you get your info? the New 197hp 139lb tq civic SI is "estimated" to run 0-60 7.2 and the 1320 in 15.2 -15.5! im sure there's a magazine testing the car as we speak so we will soon see... but of course if you get your info from a honda lovers website they probably say is like 6.5 to 60 and 14.5 in the 1320!

whats the hp numbers on a stock 2002 civic si anyway? (the hatchback kind) ... i tried to race one the other nightbut it dipped off and made a left... im packing pretty much every mod RRM has to offer but the downpipe, so i figured im at the very least 175 whp and same, maybe more tq, so i know i can beat it, i jus wanted to know what i was up against (he had at least an exhaust)

Pit entrance maybe?

BTW: Because the guy had a very loud/tractor like sound doesn't necessarily means he had an exhaust... it may have been a hole in the pipe or it's technical equivalent: the (Honda owner reveared) eBay soup can (named after the late campbell soup can used in the fabrication of the aforementionned very high-performance part). They both produce the same broken exhaust sound that has come to be associated with the average Civic...

lol, that's a pretty aggressive way to enter the pits.

As for that new 2006 Civic, if the shifter and clutch is going to be anything like it is in the LX then I don't think I'm going to like it very much. Feels like the Crysler Crossfire... like it was used.

Yeah, new Civic is not good looking outside, but nice interior. Waiting for the Si before I bother to do a test drive tho.
