#61
Well, ill solve your question" will my RA beat the si", yes. Recently i took apon my self and took an SI to the track, He had full exhuast, Header back. Some wheels and an intake. He lost by 3 car lengths. Its quick threw second gear, you better not miss it.

It depends on how long you want to keep your clutch intact I suppose...
Most guys seem to mention dropping the clutch around 3K RPM (at the track)... but I wouldn't subject my daily driver to that sort of torture though. It's a matter of "what do you use the car for"?

From experience, I have sat in a RA (about 85% throttle) and a previous gen SI (about WOT - both from a roll). The SI is fast if it's a HB, not coupe. The RA should win.
The B16 is super deadly if it has a modified chip that lowers the Vtec to 4200-4400 rpm. Yes, I even sat in one when the Vtec selenoid was disconnected . . . a dog to even get to WOT, dying about 5200 or 5500 rpm . . . sounded like it was about to puke up the rods.

WOT is when you floor it, so it shouldnt be hard to get there, all you do is press the gas pedal all the way down.
