Yeah, I figured it was something like that. Especially when I was looking for a suitable feeler gauge set last night. The "tappet feeler gauge" set started at .3mm, which is WAY too big for setting the intake clearance. I had to get the "master feeler gauge" set to get smaller than that. It goes all the way down to 0.038mm.
Maybe I'll do mine this weekend. I was going to do the solid motor mounts, but they haven't arrived yet. I ordered them last Sunday. The urethane and primer are ready to go, though.

i just read on the US lancer forums concerning about an engine noise... i do notice the noise does not happen when the clutch is in but when i released it it does... they say its the TOB (throw out berring) so i guess you can check your whole clutch thing.... and i also heard that its quite common with manual mitsubishi's? oh well just some info....
