it all depends on the dealer and what car you are wanting to trade yours in for. If you are interested in a car that the dealer has been trying to unload for a while they are gonna give you more for your trade.

I went to a different dealer today and bought an 06 WRX. THey gave me 14000 for the RA and paid the difference in what I owe to the finiancing company. Modern Racer hooked me up. I bought a new car with a few miles. I know I took a loss, but it could have been way worse. Taxes in, new winter wheels, rust proof..blah blah...$39751. So the RA cost me $11100 bucks to drive for 1.5 years. OUCH! lesson learned. Thanks for the posts..oh yeah...all my mods are up for sale.
thanks

if your gonna trade the car in to a dealer instead of selling it yourself, you are better off to make it as stock as possible. Dealers will almost always give more money for a stock car.

i was actually scared of that also, but you have to go into the dealer knowing of a price range that your gonna get for your car, i was expecting to get about 7k for mine, and was real suprised when i got a lot more for it, and no they didnt tack in on on top of the car, cus i got the car a few hundred uinder invoice, no reabtes, and tier1+ credit

IF you are looking at picking up factory parts then just buy used ones from peeps on here and then sell your aftermarket ones. You'll still come out further ahead.
