Post 1/8 mile times

does anyone here run the 1/8 mile? just wondering what yall were running. seems like my 60 foot times suck (but im used my heavily moded eclipse gsx that i sold). havnt run with my new tires yet, was using yokahama 100's now on proxys. with the yokohamas i was running low 9.3's and high 9.2's. anyone else. man i gotta find a way to launch theses fwd cars lol.

is that with spray? where in tyler do you drag?

yes with spray. i race at cedar creek raceway. im real good friends with danny the owner. been going there since 98. matter of fact thats where i test and tuned my eclipse that ran 11.22 when i sold it (full interior and pump gas mixed with racegas)

we only get 9.3's with spray??? man i thought wed get that without.

****, i've only seen like a 9.9 without spray. that was the fastest. i haven't even got that yet.

yeah i have traction issues badly. usually spinn all the way through 1st (yes im feathering the pedal lol) and half way through second, the a long spin when i grap third. that's whats killin my times.

try not spraying until you quit spinning. maybe spraying directly outta the hole isn't helping you. you need slick to do that.

lol been doing that from the start if i spray directly off the launch i spi ALL the way till about 10 yards from the trap light. LOL. oh and those times were with me driving (im not exactly light 240 lbs lol) i can get a better launch with 2 ppl in the car but i weights me down enough to ge a lower et.

great actuall thinking about bumping to a 100 shot after i get my solid motor mounts aluminum flywheel and rrm clutch. all are ordered, but havnt gotten here yet.

I've ran a 9.9 completely stock.... 60 foot time was 2.222. the second run was 10.0 but I missed third. 60 foot then was 2.231.

nice i was able to run a 10.0 stock, but i used vht for the launch and had the back seats out and the spare tire compartment completely cleaned out. btw we are having a christmas party today at work so my wife made 2 home-made chocolate pies, ONE OF THEM 'EFFIN SPILLED IN MY PASSANGER SIDE SEAT!!!!!!!
