1. No, and I'm way too drunk to go into why.
2. I didn't know there were controllers out for cordless phones. How do these work?

Refer to #1. Sorry for being facetious.

No worries. The Apexi VAFC's have preset parameters as far as VTEC engagement goes.

In technology, similar theories don't translate into exact replicas of details. Good question though.

Same engineer designed both systems but they are not the same. VTEC controllers will not work, nor will JDM MIVEC controllers for older MIVEC engines. Finally, if someone comes out with a way to control MIVEC on the Evo, that won't work on the Ralliart, either.

Instead of better, let's say "more robust", we don't want an Evo owner to get his/her feelings hurt and jump into another arguement without checking to see which forum they're in.

Just my annoyance on how Evo owners tend to jump in here and argue about MIVEC without realizing that the Evo MIVEC setup isn't the same as the 4G69 setup. They end up making themselves look like idiots. Plus, it's just a sin to say that any lower Lancer could have something better than the Evo.

my basic understanding is that our mivec controls lift and timeing and the evo mivec just controls lift, ie. a more robust mivec

Ours controls both intake and exhaust, whereas the Evo's only controls intake (I think).

Oh so is that why a turbo ralliart is faster on a roll than an EVO? lol Just Playing.
Interesting information though.

you guys better be careful not to get them going. You know what happens when you put down the evo crowd.
